About LURPS
LURPS, the Leeds University Rock Paper Scissors Society, was created in 2008 with it’s first tournament held in the Student Union’s Old Bar. LURPS is open to all members of Leeds University and any member of the local community who is interested not only in Rock Paper Scissors, but also socialising. LURPS prides itself on letting everyone come along for fun as RPS is a great way to open new lines of communication with new people.
Though not officially a Leeds University Union affilliated club (meaning we don’t get funding and other perks), we still hold our meetings and tournaments within in the union building, usually in the Old Bar in the Union, or at FAB Cafe near Morrisons.
